For Kids Ages 6-12
January 15- February 19
Learning about foods and objects in your kitchen can be exciting and fun to explore, but what if you had the chance to make some of your own? In this class students will develop work relating to items they use in their kitchen while learning more about sculpting and decorating clay. We will be focusing on using the wheel and a variety of hand building methods to create fun, functional objects for everyday use or play!
One-Day Workshop For Adults & Kids
Sunday, February 24
Come enjoy a day in the studio full of family, fun, and artistic expression! “Mardi Gras Masquerade” is a class for children and their guardians to explore, express, and celebrate your unique personalities. Spending time in the studio will strengthen and deepen relationships through teamwork and awareness of each other’s best qualities. Feel good about reflecting, creating, and working together, while also being silly and having a good time! The finished product will represent a piece of yourself inspired by your own ideas and supported by family and friends. We encourage you all to dress up wacky and festive for this exciting day! As they say in New Orleans, “Laissez les bon temps rouler!” Let the good times roll! Light refreshments provided.
Level: All Levels, Beginners Welcome
Tuition: $90 per child, Parent/Guardian Free
